Excellent skin sensation regulation ability

• Silky spreading property: carrier D5 endows the product with the characteristics of rapid spreading, and the "ball effect" of elastomer particles further enhances the silky feeling, which is suitable for use as the primer of pre makeup milk and liquid foundation.

• Oil Control Matte Effect: After the carrier evaporates, the elastic film can adsorb excess oil on the skin surface, creating a natural matte makeup effect while avoiding dryness and peeling.

• Soft waxy but not sticky: compared with traditional silicone oil, the elastomer gel has no oil film feeling, and the skin/hair presents a fresh, soft and sticky touch after use, which is suitable for all types of skin.

Excellent film-forming and moisturizing properties

• The formed elastic film is breathable and resilient, which can protect the skin barrier, reduce external stimuli, lock in moisture, and enhance the long-term moisturizing ability of the product.

• The film is not tight or cracked after forming, and is suitable for skin care products such as face cream and lotion.

Widely compatible formula

• Can be compounded with various silicone oils (amino silicone oil, polydimethylsiloxane, cyclic siloxane), oils, waxes, powders (talc powder, mica, titanium dioxide)

• Applicable to anhydrous formula (wax, lipstick), water in oil (W/O) and oil in water (O/W) emulsion system (face cream, liquid foundation, sunscreen)

• Good synergy with other organic silicone elastomers (such as phenyl modified and alkyl modified), allowing for on-demand adjustment of skin feel.

Skin Care products

• Oil control and moisturizing products: oil control lotion, face cream, refreshing moisturizing gel, with the addition amount of 2%~8%, to improve the skin feel and oil control effect.

• Pre makeup skincare products: Pre makeup lotion, isolation cream, with an added amount of 5% to 15%, to create a silky base makeup and enhance makeup retention.

• Sunscreen product: Refreshing sunscreen, added at a dosage of 3% to 10%, improves the stickiness of the sunscreen and enhances its spreadability.

Makeup products

• Makeup products: liquid foundation, powder, loose powder, air cushion, with the addition amount of 3%~15%, to improve the silkiness, oil control and makeup holding power, and avoid powder sticking.

• Eye makeup: eye shadow, eyeliner pencil, eye black, with the addition amount of 2%~8%, to improve the smoothness and durability of the product;

• Lip makeup: Lipstick and lip gloss, with an added amount of 1%~5%, to enhance smoothness and color rendering, avoiding dryness.

Hair care products

• Anti manic products: hair essence, conditioner, and hair mask, with the addition amount of 1%~5%, can reduce the manic hair and improve the smoothness and gloss.

• Styling products: hair gel, hair wax, styling spray, with the addition amount of 2%~8%, to enhance the styling force, while maintaining the softness of the hair to avoid stiffness.

How to uses

Adding method

• Oil phase/anhydrous formula: directly add to the oil phase or anhydrous system, stir evenly, no heating required;

• Emulsification formula: Add after heating the oil phase to 60-70 ℃, stir evenly, and then emulsify with the water phase. Cool down to below 40 ℃ and add other active ingredients;

• Powder formula: It can be mixed with a small amount of silicone oil first, and then mixed with other powders to improve dispersibility.

Suggestions for compounding

• Skincare oil control: compounded with polymethylsilsesquioxane powder to enhance oil control and matte effect; Combined with sodium hyaluronate, it balances oil control and moisturizing.

• Makeup base: compounded with C30-45 alkyl methyl siloxane to enhance makeup retention and waterproofness; Compound with silane powder to improve smoothness.

• Hair care and anti frizz: compounded with amino silicone oil, balancing smoothness and softness; Combined with cyclic siloxane to enhance spreading properties.

• Carrier D5 is a volatile silicone oil, and attention should be paid to the volatility of the formula to avoid volume shrinkage of the product during storage;

• When adding high amounts (>15%), attention should be paid to the flowability of the formula to avoid the product being too viscous.
