The production of LANCHEMIE Hydrophilic Fumed Silica relies on a proprietary continuous closed-loop flame hydrolysis process, the industry's gold standard for manufacturing high-purity amorphous nano-silica with consistent performance.


High-purity chlorosilane precursors, hydrogen, and purified compressed air are precisely metered, fully vaporized, and uniformly premixed, before being fed into a custom-designed high-temperature hydrolysis reactor. Here, the mixture undergoes instantaneous hydrolysis and polycondensation in a 1000–1200℃ hydrogen-oxygen flame, forming nano-scale primary silica particles that rapidly aggregate into stable three-dimensional chain-like structures.


The reaction is immediately terminated via rapid quenching, followed by multi-stage cyclic deacidification to remove residual HCl, high-efficiency cyclone separation, and precision purification. Our proprietary process enables tight control of particle size and specific surface area, ultra-low impurity residuals, near-zero batch-to-batch deviation, and full compliance with global REACH & RoHS standards, making it ideal for diverse high-demand industrial applications.
