Features & Benefits of Hydrogen Terminated Phenyl Silicone Oil LC-HP03

  • It contains reactive Si-H bonds that can participate in addition, hydrolysis and other chemical reactions.

  • It delivers exceptional high-temperature resistance, free from yellowing or cracking at elevated temperatures, and maintains stable performance during long-term service above 250℃.

  • It offers flexible crosslinking capability, as the Si-H bonds can rapidly undergo addition crosslinking with double bond-containing compounds like vinyl silicone oil.

  • It features strong compatibility and applicability: it can be blended and modified with organic polymers, and effectively compounded with inorganic fillers such as silica.

  • It has prominent additional properties, including low surface tension and excellent resistance to chemical corrosion from acids, alkalis and solvents.

Applications of Hydrogen Terminated Phenyl Silicone Oil LC-HP03

  • It acts as a critical crosslinker for addition-molded silicone rubber when paired with vinyl-terminated silicone oil, used to manufacture high-temperature-resistant and high-strength silicone products (e.g., aviation sealing rings, high-temperature hoses, mold adhesives) and upgrade the heat resistance and mechanical properties of silicone rubber.

  • Applied in electronic and electrical materials, it serves as potting glue and insulating impregnating agent for electronic components. After curing, it forms an insulating, moisture-proof and high-temperature-resistant protective layer, ideal for packaging high-power LEDs, transformers and sensors.

  • Used as coating additives or matrix materials, it is employed to produce high-temperature anti-corrosion coatings (for boilers, chimneys and high-temperature equipment) and weather-resistant inks, enhancing coatings’ heat resistance, adhesion and scratch resistance.

  • As a surface modifier for glass, metal and fibers, it imparts hydrophobicity and resistance to extreme temperatures to substrates, and is applied in the production of waterproof glass fibers and high-temperature metal coatings.

  • It is also used to formulate silicone pressure-sensitive adhesives (enhancing thermal resistance) and high-temperature mold release agents.

  • It is a core raw material for addition-type liquid silicone rubber and high-refractive LED packaging materials, with broad application prospects in ultra-low temperature sealing, damping materials and the optoelectronic industry.
